Yesterday the music world lost another familiar face entirely too early. Trish Keenan, former lead vocalist of the band Broadcast, has passed away. Along with fellow founding member, James Cargill, Broadcast helped to influence the dream pop genre by combining Keenan's dreamy, 1960s-influenced vocals with ambient, electronic soundscapes. If you want a lesson in what superb tune-age sounds like, I highly recommend snatching a copy of Broadcast's The Noise Made by People.
