Here's some new material from Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa off their upcoming soundtrack for their movie "High School" which drops 4/20/11. Personally I can't think of any better way to come home from a weekend in which I saw both Wiz Khalifa & Snoop Dogg in concert than to hear some new material entitled "Young, Wild & Free". Props to Diverse Hip Hop.

If you haven't yet heard of Tahiti 80 allow me to fill you in. Tahiti 80 is sort of the quintessential Euro-indie band. They truly blend a multitude of sounds together the only way a group of French multi-instrumentalists can and these minimal acoustic performances show their skills. Muppets & LCD Soundsystem
Suck it, Cee-Lo. LCD Soundsystem got the real Muppets, not the fake-ass pseudo-Muppets you had for your performance at the Grammys. This is the unofficial video for LCD's "Dance Yourself Clean" and it's fucking awesome. All the greats are present--Kermit, Miss Piggy, Animal, and even Cookie Monster, though I'm not exactly sure why he's here since he is in fact from Sesame Street, but that doesn't even matter. This video is hilarious. Seriously, watch it. You'll be glad you did.

Coca-Cola to Release Daft Punk Coke Bottles
Alright, so apparently Coca-Cola is preparing to release two brand new Daft Punk-themed bottles of Coke. The silver and gold bottles are apparently part of a limited-edition set to be released by an assortment of French boutiques some time in March. A commercial for the special edition bottles has been released and is posted below. I've only seen a few pictures of the blingy bottles, but I can safely say these bottles kick the shit out of the Olympic-themed Coke products of a couple of years ago.

XXL 2011 Freshman Class
For a second I was hesitant to post this, one of the biggest reasons for that was the selection of artists that XXL chose. Now I don't tend to hate on artists, especially those who are on their grind, and don't expect it to come to them, but if you ask me several of the artists on this cover have yet to pay their dues in the music industry. I won't go as far as singling any artist out, but several artist on this cover simply come from money or a historically musical family, which led them to an appearance on this XXL Freshman Cover. Now that I've shared my opinions, it's time to introduce you to this years XXL Freshman Class; Meek Mill, Big K.R.I.T., Lil B, CyHi Da Prynce, Mac Miller, Yelawolf, Fred Da Godson, Lil' Twist, Diggy Simmons, YG & Kendrick Lamar. Record Store Day Releases
On April 16th of this year, the annual Record Store Day will be upon us again, and new music from some of the biggest names of the music will not be in short supply. I'm pretty much kicking myself for even downloading this, mainly because I'm not a fan of Travis Barker, and secondly I don't have much memory to spare on my computer, let alone room for this mixtape. What caught my eye with this project and actually forced me to download it is all the artist features on this mixtape. Funny Barker calls it a mixtape, in my opinion this is an album on steroids. Now I'm only going to share a few songs with you, but I will leave you with a download link for this project. As you can see for yourself, this project includes cameo's from Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, The Game, Clipse, J. Lupe Fiasco- Moment 4 Life (Freestyle)
Just when you thought you had heard enough Lupe Fiasco, he delivers yet another freestyle. Don't get me wrong, Lupe Fiasco is on his grind, especially with his series of freestyles he did for Tim Westwood while in London. Don't get too use to hearing freestyles from Lupe, because in a little over 2 weeks we will be graced with Lasers. Only downfall with this freestyle is the beat is originally done by Drake & Nicki Minaj on their track "Moment 4 Life".

So I spotted this at East Exclusives, but didn't expect it, mainly because Lupe Fiasco released a freestyle earlier today. Lupe's earlier freestyle wasn't just any freestyle, he went in over Kanye West & Jay-Z's "H.A.M." which you can listen to here. With the release of Lasers on March 8th, Lupe said he would release one song each week from the upcoming album. This freestyle "Monster" featuring Sway obviously won't be featured on Lasers but is worth listening to.
Architecture In Helsinki- "Contact High"
There's two reasons for this post, first and foremost Sam Adkins (@foxysizzam) for introducing me to Architecture In Helsinki, and Pretty Much Amazing for sharing "Contact High". If you follow Architecture In Helsinki, then unfortunately you know they haven't released anything since Places Like This which was released in 2007. On the bright side their upcoming project, Moment Bends is due out May 3rd.
