On Saturday, April 2nd of this year,
LCD Soundsystem will play their last show at New York's Madison Square Garden, a fitting, grandiose locale to cap off an equally as magnificent performing career. Per the group's website,
lcdsoundsystem.com, they "will be playing with friends and family for nearly three hours" and the set will include songs they've "never played before". They're even requesting that all who attend the farewell gig wear white, black, or white and black. Tickets go on sale February 11th. Should be a wild evening.
