Death Cab for Cutie - "Some Boys"
Death Cab's next LP, Codes and Keys, is due out May 31 and I'm pretty fucking excited. I've been digging all the tracks I've heard from it thus far, so I'm glad I can give you guys this one. It's called "Some Boys" and yeah, it's pretty solid. Did I mention I can't fucking wait for this album? Enjoy.

The National - "Exile Vilify"
Here's a new track the National penned for the video game Portal 2's soundtrack entitled, "Exile Vilify". It's got pianos, string arrangements, and Mr. Berringer's poetry just like the National loves to employ but it's still a solid track. Check it out.

U2 (Feat. Jay-Z) - "Sunday Bloody Sunday" (Live)
This track is epic, and Jay's verse on this is real, props for the Bob Marley quote. It's just the live version for now, hopefully we get a mastered studio version sometime after U2's U2: Duals drops. Apparently you have to subscribe to U2's fan club to get the LP and it's going to be limited edition. I'd rather not though, hopefully they put out a physical copy and release it on iTunes as well, it's going to make its way out there any way. There are other ways to get with the internet generation. Young Chris - ThisIs50 Interview
After dropping The Re-introduction, linking up with Rico Love and Division 1, and dropping a new single, "Assets", it's safe to say Young Chris has been putting in work over the past months and he did it without taking shots at his old label and it's cool to see him doing his thing. In this interview he sits down with Young Jack Thriller from ThisIs50 and talks about his upcoming album, what's next for the Young Gunnaz, and more.

Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi - "Two Against One"
Recently, Danger Mouse teamed up with the Italian composer Daniele Luppi to create a spaghetti-Western tinged album entitled, Rome, which is set to be released on May 16 in the UK and on May 17 in the US. I'm not sure how many tracks are planned to be on the album entirely, but I do know that Jack White and Norah Jones each sing three a piece, and the track below, "Two Against One", features vocals from the former. Take a listen and enjoy.

Listen to James Pants New Self-Titled LP
Streaming right now over at 3VOOR12 is this new record from singer/songwriter James Pants--James Pants. It's a hearty blend of pop and psychedelic instrumentation that certainly needs to be heard to be properly understood. The melodies soar and the guitars are heavy--if either of these things appeal to you, go ahead and hit the link below to listen to the album. Enjoy.

Adele - "Someone Like You (Messed Remix)"
Honestly, I really kind of like pretty much everything Adele sings on. She oozes a ton of soul that I'll simply never have. Another confession--I'm not generally a huge dubstep fan; it just tends to get a little repetitive (in my opinion). But, this blend of soul and dub really meshes well. It's truly two different styles juxtaposed together but here, it really works. Check out this mix. (Thanks to In Audio We Trust)

Watch Kanye's Entire Coachella 2011 Set
Ok, this is kind of interesting. Here is Kanye West's entire set from the recent Coachella Music Festival. Kanye's recent set has gotten a lot of acclaim and deservedly so--he pretty much kills it, seriously. He really went light on 'celebrity' appearances from other artists and that may be seen as pretty risky behavior, but the chance he takes here really pays off in spades. Check out his performance.

Take Away Show - Alex Winston
Here's yet another installment of La Blogotheque's Take Away Show series and this time the artist featured is Alex Winston. Ms. Winston is an American multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter hailing from the Motor City, Detroit, MI. These performances have a certain pop vibe to them coupled with some great vocal harmonies and as always, the filming is superb. Enjoy. PS, I'm pretty sure I found my new crush--real talk.

Prodigy - 'The Ellsworth Bumpy Johnson Story' (EP Artwork)
Complex let this artwork as well as the tracklist go earlier. It's the first project from P since he's been home--7 tracks deep and features production from Alchemist, King Benny, and Sid Roams. Havoc, the other half of Mobb Deep, is the only guest feature on the project. I know Prodigy's hungry after that stint, so this project should be dope. It's dropping tomorrow, hit up Complex for the full tracklisting.
Pusha T - "My God" (Video)
Visuals for Pusha's street single off of Fear of God. The vid features the beautiful Dollicia Bryan and a ton of religious clips. There's an EP, Fear of God 2: Let Us Pray, dropping in June as well. Pusha, mentioned on twitter that there would a few surprises on it.

Here's Harlem's own performing "Renaissance" off of Save Bewler. I dig Rugz music and the fact that he brings a different sound to Harlem, it's not just Dip Set any more. Music-RX Interview w/ C of C Radio
Recently, we at the Music-RX (that is Alex and myself) were lucky enough to have the opportunity to spread the word on exactly what we're doing here at the Music-RX. Thanks to our wonderful and lovely friend/DJ Gwyn LoCascio (aka Gwyneth McBallerstein) of C of C Radio we were able to grace the radio waves briefly and preach the gospel, if you will, of what we're doing right now with the site, what our future plans for the Music-RX are, and really just to promote, promote, promote. If you're interested in learning a little more about us and the Music-RX, listen to the interview below. Enjoy (and thanks again Gwyn).

James Vincent McMorrow - "We Don't Eat (Adventure Club Remix)"
Found this track over on Pigeons & Planes and it was intriguing. The post over at P & P claimed "We Don't Eat" was a Bon Iver and Skream blend, but I get more of a Bon Iver-James Black love-child kind of vibe from this James Vincent McMorrow track. Give it a listen.

Josh T. Pearson is an American singer-songwriter from Texas who carries along with his Jesus-beard, a certain ability to gently pluck at the emotional heart-strings. In this installment of La Blogotheque's Take Away Show series, Mr. Pearson meanders throughout the streets of Paris softly performing his tracks "Sweetheart, I Ain't Your Christ" and "Thou Art Loose". Girl Talk Teaching English?!
So, recently Gregg Gillis (aka Girl Talk) recently did an interview for the hip English language education site, English, baby! and it is pretty interesting. I admit that I am a little partial because I am indeed an English major, so I'm kind of a dork about these things, but it really is pretty interesting to hear Mr. Gillis define sonic terms like "out of the blue" and "sample". He certainly thinks in his own way.

Frank Ocean – 'The Lonny Breaux Collection' (Mixtape)
The specific purpose of this post is to share a new artist with you by the name of Lonny Breaux. That was a complete and total lie, actually it could be considered one but actually Lonny Breaux is also known as Frank Ocean and to many of you he is quite new. Although the group Frank is associated with which is OFWGKTA, isn't that new to say the least, Frank is making his come up fast. How do I explain to you this guys sound? Simply put I can't. Frank Ocean has in my opinion a completely different style of music. Whatever genre of music he is classified under by choice of him or others doesn't contain him to that style. If you heard his latest project Nostalgia, Ultra and like me instantly fell in love with him as an artist and his music then this project will certainly satisfy you. This mixtape, The Lonny Breaux Collection is a compilation of 63 tracks prior to Nostalgia, Ultra.
